I was 19 when I had a cancerous tumor in my uterus, them to take the whole thing- didn't want kids anyway and didn't want to risk it coming back. They said no because I was "just a kid" came back at 22, still said no. I'm 30 now and have had an abortion due to them denying my Healthcare (I couldn't be om the pill or get an IUD after surgery for a year, ended up knocked up because I was in a 5 year relationship). Finally getting my IUD removed next pring and getting the uterus out.

the real issue is that people think the uterus is just for having children. it does more than that and should be saved if possible.

It’s something many young men and women don’t understand. Even if they don’t like it long term it is beneficial our minds change. Props on the doctor for understanding the situation and not just feeding into what the kid wants now without thinking long term
