I don’t usually comment on tik tok vids but this hits home. i was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer last december. multiple tumors inside me. 1 was the size of a softball as well. started chemo 1 week later bc how much disease i had inside me. 4 rounds of intense chemotherapy. finished therapy in march this year, which killed all the cancerous cells but was ineffective for the tumors. Getting that news after 3 months of chemo that it was ineffective and that what you have are Teratomas was the most mentally challenging thing to hear. Almost felt like i went through chemo for nothing. tumor grew to the size of a football and also made me look pregnant. Multiple doctors and surgeons said it was an inoperable tumor in my abdomen bc of how tangled up it was inside me. I was referred over to USC for surgery and the surgeon there said it was doable and took a chance. 19 hour RPLND (retroperitoneal lymph node dissection) surgery back in June to remove the entirety of the tumor which was successful. Was in the hospital recovering for a month and had to relearn how to do everything again. Still recovering today and man it’s been a battle. I still have to do my orchiectomy in the coming months. I know exactly what you’re feeling and going through. Dm’s are open if you want advice or just to talk. Keep pushing brotha!

Don’t give up ! My brother had testicular cancer that’s spread. Four years of chemo and he finally beat it! He was 24 when diagnosed and is now 66. You CAN beat this.
