On September 27, many young people in Morocco, especially from Generation Z, went out to protest peacefully. They were asking for better schools, better hospitals, and more freedom. Instead of listening to their voices, the police, security forces, and Makhzen treated them with violence. Videos and witnesses showed officers beating protesters, dragging them on the ground, and putting them by force into police cars. In some cities, the police used fear and power to stop people from gathering, even though the protest was supposed to be peaceful. Journalists and people with cameras were also blocked from showing what really happened. For many young Moroccans, this day became a symbol of how the government does not accept free expression and how the security forces attack instead of protecting.

Morocco is locking up citizens for talking about basic human rights like education and health, they are being captured and beaten in peaceful protests for demanding basic rights, and the people who got affected by the earthquake are still living in tents, the youth can't find jobs because of the corruption and injustice, women die in the hospital with lack of medical equipment and doctors, we are demanding basic human rights we see education and health as a privilege but it should be the minimum, Don’t be fooled by what you see in the media. We are facing violence and repression, and there is no real safety.

Entire neighborhoods are destroyed to build stadiums and luxury projects, while the poor are pushed out of their houses with nowhere to go. Young people who raise their voices are silenced, beaten, or jailed, their dreams crushed before they are born. Children are forced to work in the streets instead of learning in classrooms, some disappearing into places where no one asks questions. Poverty is everywhere — fathers with empty hands, mothers crying because they cannot feed their families, youth staring at a future that does not exist. This is the Morocco that lives in silence, the Morocco the world does not see, the Morocco that deserves justice, dignity, and hope.
