Addiction really is a spiritual crisis… it shows how powerful devotion is when it has no direction. My dad died when I was 27 and always did everything for me. Now I take care of my mom and it’s so hard. She’s been sick for a while and wow so challenging. Life is lifing. ✨

I was moving into my dorm and all the dads on my floor came to my room to help me lay my carpet bc they saw me doing everything alone. Neither parent showed. That’s when it hit me 🥺💕

My dad does this for me and now I. Don’t know how to be independent… I constantly rely on a man for everything at 34. I’m so grateful I have an amazing dad, but I have 0 drive or ambition and I look for men who will spoil me and take care of me. But a part of me craves independence

100% agree. I was raised by a single mom & she did everything right- above & beyond. But now, I’m on a mission to make sure that MY children have a wonderful father & role model. I refuse to give a man children unless I know 10000% that man will be there for them at all times just like I wish my father was there for me 💔 this generational trauma ends with me 💔😭

I avoid going to the park because I’m lowkey afraid of seeing a happy family with both parents. It makes me feel lonely and isolated, however, I’m still happy for all those with a healthy family.
