Is there a list somewhere? Why can I not find out about my medication? I’m freaking out I am HIV positive. I can only handle certain medications and they are not generic. I’m not getting answers. I can’t find List. This is insane.

Will this cause denials of prior auths for medications being billed to Medicaid?

I just don't understand how Trump thinks that increasing the prices of medicine will win him any support with his own base. I didn't vote for him, but how can he not comprehend how devastating this will be?

Thanks for this! I have a question, The chemo I take, the only one I can take, is $24,000 a month without insurance. I don't pay that and get a subsidy to help pay my copays and meds due to being disabled. But so many cancer patients and disabled folks don't get these subsidies have to pay copays. So with a 100% tariff, does this mean that the chemo med (Iclusig) will now be $48,000 a month now?

Could this be a non-issue if the supreme Court confirms later this year that Trump did not have the power to impose these tariffs in the first place, thus reversing these tariffs charges?

I mean, there isn't a lot of brand names that the VA dispenses. and they generally have contracts for pricing.

1) what’s to stop pharmaceutical companies from pretending to build a factory and then stalling for 4-5 years 2) don’t some of these companies have something close to a monopoly on certain important drugs? Don’t they have a lot of bargaining power? 3) we’ve seen with inflation that once prices go up, it’s hard to negotiate them back down. If importers get used to paying tariffs, we may have to deal with the consequences for much longer than this presidency

As a family med doctor, I’m worried about my patients that are low income but still have insurance through their job. Like my diabetic patients who are on Jardiance, Januvia, Farxiga, Mounjaro, etc

If the company has production here already or has pledged to invest in producing here they’re exempt from the tariffs.

to be honest, a 100% tarriff on medication coming into the US should only raise the costs a few pennies because the cost to make each drug is commonly less than $40/kg and at milligrams per pill thats not even a penny per pill. however, they will justify raising the selling price by 100% because of the tariff.
