Maybe cause HRs aren’t the only stat, judge clears him in everything but HRs and RBIs

All these Yankee fans claiming Cal doesn't deserve it because he's only leading in HRs seem to forget THAT WAS WHAT WON JUDGE THE MVP IN 2022. HOME RUNS. IT WAS THEIR MAIN ARGUMENT!

Mind you, the Mariners are super HR reliant if it wasn’t for his 60 HRs they wouldn’t even be in the playoffs. Lol

If cal played dh as many times as judge he would have 15+ more home runs than he has right now

Put Judge in catchers gear and behind the plate for 120 games and see how well he hits…Not even a debate. Raleigh is the MVP.

People forget that MVP stands for something. If judge wins the award name needs to be changed to Offensive Player of the Year

The Aaron Judge slander needs to be studied.

I love this argument. This is like when they say the highest goal scorer for a soccer team is the mvp. Scoring points is arguable the biggest contribution you can make to a team, he also has better stats in most categories compared to Cal. Cool stories don’t add value.

So we start a new draft who is everybody gonna pick first Cal or Aaron Judge? I think that pretty much answers the question.

Yankees didn't even win their own division but we know the Mariners did. This award isn't for the offensive POTY but the MVP and that was Raleigh. Judge is an average OF at best. Catcher is the most demanding and impactful position in the game. Cal led his team to their first division title in two decades and Judge didn't lead the Yankee to a division title.

Look at how far ahead Judge is in OPS, OPS+, Slugging, On Base, etc.. If Raleigh was even with in 20 points of Judge in any of those categories, he’s for sure the MVP. But he’s not, not even remotely close. In some cases, Judge is 80 to 100 points ahead. Raleigh’s OPS+ this season isn’t even in the top 400 all-time for a season…how is that a MVP caliber player?

Didnt hear abt Cal till this year heard of Aaron ever since he debuted. Literally stating hes mvp just bc he has 60 hrs an is a switch hitting catcher tht doesnt mean anything🥱🥱

It’s not just the HRs for judge. He’s hitting 330, with an OBP of .460, what are we talking about. If Luis Arraez hit 50 we wouldn’t even be arguing. Barry Bonds 1993 season, which he won the MVP was the closest thing to Judge this year. Cal is batting 240! 240…are you kidding me. He hit home runs, and it’s awesome, but he’s not the MVP. Sorry

If you intentionally walk Raleigh as many times as judge has been intentionally walked, then he would have nearly as many home runs
