Interesting point. Genesis references the nephilim as being “hero’s and famous warriors of ancient times” but book of Enoch describes them as monstrous giants that eventually behagan to eat mankind after eating all their food….. curious about why there are conflicting accounts. Obviously the book of l Enoch is considered apocryphal (even at times folklore) and im not well read enough on either to say which is accurate. But for the time being I’d have to rely on the inerrant text in biblical scripture for what I believe right now…… like I said, I’m not too well educated on this topic but from what I thought I understood it was the “watchers” that were the corrupt and evil ones. They were the ones teaching the humans the things that were to advanced for them to know at the time. But that’s all I’ve got. However, I will add a point I’ve been pondering on since watching the archeologist on “ancient apocalypse” and how his findings of buildings and structures from that time would have been impossible to build without the help of some kind of giant being. So I always made the assumption that the giants worked together with the humans, or at least some of them. BUT like I said, that’s not based on anything sound just some kind of internal thoughts that I’ve processed when trying to connect some dots. Sorry this is long. Let me know what your thoughts are?
