@the.australian: Grand Blanc Township Police Chief William Renye said there were hundreds of people in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when a man drove through its front doors and began firing with an assault rifle, at about 10.25am local time. The police believe he also set the church on fire. After the suspect left the church, two officers pursued him and “engaged in gunfire,” Mr Renye said.
