@lonelysmalldude: ⚠️MADAGASCAR NEEDS YOU⚠️ On September 25th, Madagascar youth, heavily inspired by the nepali movement, has mobilized a peaceful great march. Their requests were simple : access to water, electricity, and security. Those are supposed to be fundamental rights, but in Madagascar, they're a luxury. Power and water outages can last up to 12 hours a day, sometimes more. Stores have been closed, people are starving ,students can't study... And it's been going on like this for more than a decade. So, all of that led to a NON-VIOLENT protest. People went down the streets marching with nothing but signs and songs. And how did the law forces answer ? With real bulets, tear gas grenades , punches, and other forms of violence. My people are silenced, killed with animosity for standing up for their rights. Kids, with hopes and dreams, just like you and me. Some media try to undermine the movement by labeling it as a violent movement. But we all have proof. If you see this, our story needs more coverage for the world to know. My last words go to my fellow people. These amazing, courageous persons who are still out there, standing up for our beloved country. In my heart, next to the word " heroes," stand all of your names now. Let us always answer their violence with our heart and art. Love you all🇲🇬❤️ and thank you @gen_z_madagascar #freemadagascar✊🏾🇲🇬
