This marks the first year since Sonoda Gakuen switched from its yellow uniform to the pink uniform of Ehime Athletics Headquarters. Sonoda Gakuen holds training camps in Ehime, so there seems to be a connection. I've previously described Ehime Athletics Headquarters as a mysterious team, but they sent Shusei Nomoto and Yuta Sakiyama to the World Championships. Aika Miura has also represented Japan on the women's national team. And Osakatani also represented Japan for the first time this year. This team is packed with incredibly talented athletes. They've also attracted attention at the World Championships. We'll introduce Osakatani's achievements next time.
