Dr's today ARE NOT DR'S, they only treat symptoms and never care about further investigation on what's causing all the symptoms. Health care sucks, I pray you find a Dr that will find answers not just push meds on you.

My autoimmune disease went undiagnosed and ignored for 5 years. When I was finally given a diagnosis, no explanation was give, root cause wasn’t a concern — was just pushed medication to help manage symptoms. I stopped taking the meds and with time listened to my body and learned what triggers me on my own.

Go to another ER tell them you think you have meningitis. They will get you in right away and do lumbar puncture and test it. Have they tested him for Lime Disease?

A doctor without testing me said I had herpes. Mind you I was celibate. Went to see another doctor same symptoms ulcers, butterfly rash on my face and a rash on my arm. She said have you ever been told or asked about autoimmune symptoms we talked and test were done. 100% lupus.

When there is not a black and white, shows up in labs situation, doctors fall back on anxiety, stress, or weight rather than admitting they don't know. Or as I got, "we know it's autoimmune, but not which type". I'm sorry you all are going through that.

10/10 and being calm. Some of us had/have no other choice. I had an 11mm stone stuck with a kidney infection but no one else could pick my daughter up from school. Without crying or screaming like I wanted to, I picked her up, and we went to the ER until some one picked up their phone. I held a calm brave face so my daughter wouldn't get scared.

So sick of chronic illness getting diagnosed as anxiety by medical professionals! So frustrating! Has he been checked for Lyme disease? I have autoimmune disorders and it so hard to get diagnosed. Visit a Rheumatologist and ask if the following blood tests can be done: ANA (Antinuclear Antibody Test), RF (Rheumatoid Factor) Anti-CCP (Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibody), ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) & CRP (C-Reactive Protein), dsDNA (Double-Stranded DNA Antibody Test), ENA Panel (Extractable Nuclear Antigen Panel), Thyroid Antibodies (e.g., anti-TPO, anti-thyroglobulin) HLA Typing (Human Leukocyte Antigen), Thyroid Antibodies, Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) or Genetic Panels.

Have to research, find others with similar symptoms and then when you go to doctors you ask for testing for xyz. You have to be careful how you ask bc some doctors have such HUGE egos, they will not do it bc they didn't think of it first. Look into dysautonomia/POTS

I kept telling my drs I get bad migraines like excruciating and my vision goes wonky and spotty/black they said you’ll have to see the eye dr.. the eye dr said my eyes are fine so i gave up 🤷🏼♀

My daughter has a rare autoimmune disorder/ disease ( Nuro bechets) that causes brain lesions and flare ups that paralyze her so horrible !! Does your husband have a diagnosis ?

idk how I would feel about doctors after all this 😕 Maybe saving up to go to a different country. I heard South Korea uses all kinds of technology to do scans along with other tests and it's way cheaper than anything out here
