Bethpage Black is supposed to be a brutal course — there’s even a warning sign on the first tee — but there was little sign of that this year. The U.S. set it up easy, with wide fairways and soft greens. Add in the rain during practice days and it became a putting contest that Europe thrived in. “I definitely made a mistake on the course set up,” Bradley admitted. And finally Data Golf’s analysis ranked Harris English and Collin Morikawa as the WORST possible foursomes pairing. Yet Bradley sent them out anyway, and they got thrashed… twice.
