@matteveritt: I'm so excited to announce our next short film, IN THE FLOOD. We've taken everything we learned from You Can Go Home Whenever You Want and have dialed it up to 11 for this one. We're shooting on 16mm film, Michael B. Woods is back and helped develop the story, and it won't be 26 minutes long! Today marks the beginning of our crowdfunding campaign. Costs have gone up since our last film and it's very important to us to treat our cast and crew with respect, which in this case means doing our best to compensate them for their time and energy. Meeting our goal last time was equally exciting and humbling, and I hope you'll join us on this journey, either financially or simply by helping us get the word out that there's an opportunity to support a Michigan-made film. This story is about the value of the limited time each of us receive on this earth, and the things we encounter that make us value our time even more. My hope is that this film will offer viewers a reminder of how awe-inspiring it is to be alive, even when it feels like there's so much turmoil in the world and it's easy to take life for granted.
