Just got mine earlier this month and it cost me nearly $70k. However I ended up with around 110 duel hours and 30 solo hours. Flew mostly newer 172 g1000 at around $250/hr, instructor was $110/hr.

😭😭 i paid $7000 of my PPL. but it didn't take me 70+ hours. I completed it in 40 hours. this was 2010

The biggest question is do you have a degree? My husband is wanting to not have to get a degree. I told him why spend 100k for just the flight school when you can spend 100k for flight and still get a free degree out of it.

Ngl bro you could’ve saved a ton of money.. I also live in New York and if your flying anywhere new farmingdale (They will rip you off) . But judging by the fact that you got your ppl is 75hrs the price makes sense.. mine was around 15k but I’m super proud of you dude, I’ve been watching from day one
