Sir, you need to take care of this kind of stuff at court. The officers just doing his job take the ticket and go to court but the side of the road is not a place for court.

I used to be a dispatcher. They absolutely can pull you over for this and yes, if you are being accused whether you think you did something or not, it would be in your best interest to just provide your I.D. if asked for it.
