@adhd_coach101: ADHD paralysis isn’t laziness 💜 it’s executive dysfunction… and it’s draining. If this feels familiar, my 30-day ADHD micro habit challenge might help 👀 drop HABIT in the comments if you want the link ✨ #adhdinwomen women #executivedysfunction #adhdstruggles #adhdlife #adhdhelp
This is what I try to explain to people when they say “yeah I have a lot of energy so I have ADHD” mate, the “hyper” part is the least of your concerns when you have ADHD. 😂

Yes 😔 I’d sit frozen for hours staring at my to-do list, knowing what needed to be done but feeling paralyzed. People thought I was lazy but I was exhausted inside—brain fog, sugar cravings, bloating. Nothing helped. Then in a women’s forum I saw eat like a woman protocol (by loren green). Tried it and my focus came back—28 lbs gone, steady energy, clear skin. Still feels like secret info no one shares.

yes and whilst your mind is going a million miles an hour it looks like we're doing nothing but doom scrolling/watching tv etc. We look lazy but we're exhausted!

the brain is smart, the brain is trying to tell you something, "executive dysfunction" is something the medical world had to come up with when humans desperately want to exit the Matrix :) Is probably the endless repetitive routine that leads to nothing exciting for you that the brain refuses to take part in bcs it can do more than just choruses:))

Adhd is considered to be a trauma response, therefor what you experience now is also aligning with cptsd and a disregulated nervous system. Body oriented/somatic therapy helps because with time you realize adhd is just a response, a way for the brain to keep you alive because enduring the trauma when it was created was difficult to handle and felt like unaliveing. When you get to address the trauma, the adhd symptoms start to lessen as you show the nervous system the care and support it needs.

I’m not sure this is ADHD, it’s more likely a stress response to the current horrible world. We are tolerating.

Not the lemmings in the comments going “that’s not ADHD, it's laziness” who are probably neurotypical, and don’t realise it’s because we have an actual disability 🤦🏾♀️

I always explain it to people like an old laptop with a million tasks open. It’s like our brains have way too much going on and they lag. Clicking more tabs just makes it worse lol

Yes, am able to watch a screen for days, sit in silence, not moving, but loads of thoughts going on in my head.
Like a computer crashing, total error but looking relaxed for outsiders
