I can't take people who say "both parties are the same" seriously. Like, under the dems my brother was able to get healthcare with his preexisting condition, under the gop I'll be losing mine. At the end of Obama's term we were getting more police transparency, those were some of the first things gutted when Trump got in. The long term damage the judges put in place under this administration are doing alone, why is that not a concern? Totally fair to have a convo about how the dems uphold many of the same systems the gop does, especially overseas. But I'd rather fix a stalled car over one actively on fire.

On top of that since political causes aren't meant to be a " if you don't get everything you wanted the first time, call it impossible and give up" activity...Single issue voters also look at a candidates' potential to be persuaded. You cannot convince me and that leftist looked at " put the hoses on protesters " " There's bad guys on both sides." " I hate brown people 24/7." " I can shoot someone in the middle of time square and nothing will happen to me." Trump and think HE would have any semblance of empathy to be easier to persuade than Kamala.

1000% correct . I’m so tired of the false equivalencies these people make. While talking with a leftist, I pointed out Kamala wanted a two state solution. They shot back “a two state solution is Zionism” . Those were the options and working towards a two state solution would reduce suffering compared to a president working towards a 1 state solution

They also voted third party. Jill Stein and Butch Ware were incredibly destructive. Their rhetoric was insane. And it fueled the fire in a bigger way than they'll admit. They'll say there weren't enough of us to sway the election but then they also say well Harris would have gotten the votes if she just spoke out more. 🙄 These people are so unserious. They are now going after AOC. And some of them even wanted to go after Mamdani too. But then they backed off.
