fishbowls are bad either way. it can distort their vision and still lead to them getting stressed out.. not sure why you dont just get a rectangular one bc u clearly have a good grasp on everything else.

bowls are really bad for any fish, distorts their eyes and causes health issues. been looked down on since the beginning of time (people who actually do research on the animals they get would know this.)

it doesnt matter what the size is anything rounded like bowls or bowfront bettas and most fish hate bc it distorts their vision. idk why after SOO many ppl telling you its not good you continue to use it, like when taking care of a living animal why would you not want them in the best setup possible??? esp bc its so easy to get a normal tank i seen them for free or dirt cheap on facebook marketplace ALL the time. the tank is super pretty you could just turn it into a shrimp/snail bowl its not like people are telling you to take it down all together just take the betta out
