Molinaro (이선영)  THE DISH: Jackfruit Arancini Gochujang Bolognese Grapes, Parmesan & Celery PRIMARY INSPO -I have always been inspired by Joanne’s story telling & her way to captivate, evoke emotions & educate through her videos.  -Joanne is Korean & her husband Anthony is Italian. SECONDARY INSPO -Anthony is a music professor/pianist & that’s why I chose a piano based audio. The song brings a tone & melody that is raw & vulnerable but yet calming & peaceful. Joanne has shared about her previous emotionally abusive relationship; the song to me shares the sentiment of ending something painful & the feel of a cleansed restart where theres peace, love & lightness to everyday. -I wanted to show Joanne’s personality in the components of the dish: BOLD/STRONG -As a lawyer & creator, she is strong, advocating for what she believes/cares for & is not afraid to call things out & defend. The bolognese sauce is built with layers of ingredients to reflect Joannes many life experiences. Through time slowly braising, the ingredients develops into one beautiful sauce only achieved through time. -Joanne externally is strong but internally she is also gentle & loving. That’s why the arancini; it has a crispy strong exterior protecting the soft & creamy rice/jackfruit filling  GENTLE/SWEET -Grapes & celery leaves are added to provide sweetness & also elegance. They balance the bold arancini & bolognese. They symbolize Joanne’s kindness, friendliness & ability to balance her strong personality &  messaging to bring kind refreshing perspectives & thoughts to her audience through her content.
