I’m a corporate attorney and I handle data privacy addenda to commercial contracts every day as part of my job. The amount of companies that trade this level of PII and PHI via aggregation and deidentification is… all of them. Some handle this data better than others but mostly they don’t invest in the legal and data protection services (and staff) at a scale to support this level of data processing that will lead to data privacy catastrophes that are, at this point, inevitable.

(Not looking to argue just confirming) so bc they will have access to our biological data that will then lead to selectively choosing “good” and “bad” genes or more specifically particular people and restricting their rights?
