If it makes you feel better, a lot of us can relate. I don’t have a single friend that would consider me their ‘best friend’ ‘their go to’ which is really hard to cope with because I would do anything for most of those people, and have. I’m just so grateful for my husband and children. 💕

I didn’t have a true best friend until adulthood, and I think I needed time to grow up and grow into someone I loved. And I relate so hard to your situation with your mom. And what breaks my heart is they can change. They can be better as your parent and they choose not to.

I feel like I always put in so much effort into my female friendships and slowly but surely they always just forget I exist/replace me. It hurts so bad!! I try so hard to love others and always be there for my girls, but they always slowly just forget me. It HURTS! Especially watching them pick bridesmaids who were never there like I was for them or as close to them. Keep your head up girl! When I move to Charleston oneday we will just be besties! 🩷☺
