I love spicy, but spicy doesn’t love me - i get major reflux so I only treat myself every couple weeks. When I’m trying to be good, I do the gochujang and only a small bit of the chili flakes. But the right way is delicious 😭

Is tteokbokki supposed to be chewy like over chewed bubble gum otr soft like udon noodles? I love the taste of the sauces that come with tteokbokki but the cakes are always chewy sticky like coagulated flour/water
