At first I didn't like that it was first person only, but honestly it fits the game, makes it more immersive. Only wish we could've had more cutscenes where we could actually see our V.

That's not the reason why the game is not playable in third person. The fact that it's not playable in third person is the reason why it does look like that, not being designed to be played in third person they didn't bother doing the extra work to make animations look good.

Never understood why you could customize your appearance so much if over 90% of the game was in first person perspective. The only time you can see yourself is third person on a motorcycle or first person in a mirror.
