As someone who works in surgical recovery. Scar tape, yes. Bio oil isn't bad it's just not as effective, but better than totally nothing. It's just overpriced vitamin E and moisturizer. Use it for now as it's already purchased. Even better to use silicone gel (or even petroleum jelly) to aid healing + the scar tape. If you're prone to keloids PLEASE PLEASE reach out to a derm/doctor you do NOT have to suffer with it or think your care was not enough. Ask for corticosteroid injections in the new keloid scar it will flatten it reducing the appearance. Apply sunscreen on your scars when exposed to prevent prevent hyperpigmentation.

I got mine out a year ago and my incisions were in a different spot from yours. My biggest one is a little under my sternum

I didn’t use anything and 11 months later they’re faded majorly but still scars, I use them as my reminder to stay away from greasy food 😂

They will I just had mine a month ago and I’m healed tape is gone! Also I had stomach pushed back down I had no hole for food to eat I only threw up for year and a half I’m just mind get myself to want to try food again! You’ll be a new girl
