They should have never got rid of the V8 . The TT V6 is what killed that car . The tundra had the same motor with nothing but issues . Not mention everyone and they mom buys cross overs now sedans are dead

Lexus/Toyota wised up and saw there was no money in cars lasting past 50,000 miles so they started doing what the other auto makers do make junk on wheels,load-it with a bunch of tech and gimmicks overcharge you on the cell and keep you coming back to the repair shop Lexus used to be a legendary when it came to fit and finish you wouldn’t hear any squeaks. The electronics wouldn’t go out the motors were bulletproof, etc. yeah to the critics they call them boring but to the people that actually bought them they weren’t investment that you could get 10 years out of driving Lexus and never have to worry about it breaking down and this is not just with the LS it’s across the board even with the flagship SUV the LX I got one on lease and as soon as I took it out for a test ride didn’t feel like the older generations of the LX

I had a 2009 LS 460 that lasted to 300,000 miles until it was T-bone by an Uber driver and my current 2017 LS 460 has 260,000 miles and still going strong
