none of those things :
that's OK, and I'm glad you learned with a loaner before finding out when there's a no return policy

It’s funnier when it’s yours. But also more terrifying. And also just so amazing!! And also fucking exhausting!! But it’s great! Have kids, or don’t, it sucks. I love my kids!! 😂 😡🤪

I absolutely can't handle having kids. My niece and nephew are awesome but after an afternoon with them everyone including myself needs a nap. When I retreat back to my peaceful far less responsibility filled house it's feels so nice.

I have three kids. I love them dearly. Being childfree is a perfectly valid choice.

Listen, I won't tell you to have kids, but the chaos calms down a bit when they start pre-school. My son is almost 5 and it's a lot better than a 1 year old 😅

Being with your own kids is dramatically different than being around other people's kids. Though I'm not sure if it's just Stockholm syndrome...

You absolutely forget nearly all the bad stuff when they get older, it’s absolutely worth it. You get the chance to give the world good humans.

I didn’t become a parent until I was in my 40s and I totally love it BUT I would never recommend it to anyone. It has to be a personal decision because it is a lot with a lot piled on top. Choosing not to have kids is totally understandable.

I can tolerate other people’s children but just barely. I’m obsessed with my own child. Having one is quite manageable and wonderful.

No one does it cause it’s easy. But it pays off big. You get to help them learn to be people. First few years are tough tho

I completely agree with your take on Taylor and even just had a debate about it. If there’s over 2k people richer then get you should be putting just as much, if not more pressure on them

I’ve never felt so constantly full of love, and simultaneously emotionally and physically drained with kids lol. My job is taxing but it’s literally my break now. It’s kind of like the gym, in that there is no upper limit to how much energy you can pour into the activity of raising kids, except unlike the gym there’s no skipping and no breaks. Don’t do it unless you are both 100% committed to making it your #1 priority.
