i just dont understand why they’re giving us backstories to the strangers? they’re called the STRANGERS, the most iconic line from the original is “because you were home.” they shouldn’t be reasons they’re doing this, I DONT CARE

Tbh reviewers are the worst thing that’s happened to the film industry. These movies will bomb at the box office, movie theaters won’t make money from it because you have online reviewers like this for example telling people don’t see it when at the end of the day what some may perceive being bad may not be bad to the next and even if it is bad it’s always better for the film industry to see the movie but you have reviewers online who have too much power and people take their opinion too seriously to the point they don’t even go see it and we get robbed of a potential future movie that may be really good whether it’s this or something else

Mike Flanagan is an even worse director than David Gordon Green so I have zero faith in his Exorcist being any better. And yes, a lot of you think he is an auteur, but Flanagan is schlock

The original Strangers flick was genuinely terrifying. The sequels have been absolutely horrid. I couldn't bring myself to watch chapter 2.
