I had a girl rent my ysl bag- did not tell me she was returning it, somehow got into my building and claims she just put the bag on my door and left…. no video footage of her and she thought she didn’t have to replace it…. she was $2700 poorer that day

Ive had two. For my first rental in january 2026, i sent a girl a brand new arcina dress. $500 with tags on it. She ripped a hole, requested a fit refund (i was unaware of damage), and then sent it back with labeling box (to prevent courier confusion). She denied doing it, and the case is still ongoing. I took before and after photos thankfully. The second one in a little iffy. The girl said the dress arrived wet. I could have been fedex issue - not sure. Anyways she definitely wore it, as there was a lot of wear and tear

Thanks for sharing your stories! Currently going through my first pickle loss as an owner and I am trying to stay optimistic while pickle investigates. It was also a dress that was sentimental (wore to my sister’s wedding) , a mistake on my part 💔 it’s sad how people just don’t care about your expensive items just because it isn’t there’s . Would never do that as a renter

I think it’s so important to leave reviews - good and bad. If some one has bad reviews / comments about them renting stuff I won’t rent it out. But if it’s returned in perfect condition I’ll write that too! Helps lenders a lot

Almost all of my rentals have been absurd. Ripped and destroyed formal gowns, non returns, non pick ups (??? Renters ordering, delivery guys waiting and renter ghosting— weird bc they still have to pay 50%). Its been nonstop issues with their t&cs constantly changing its rlly annoying
