@thetierraburns: It’s a fine line between it’s poverty vs. there’s a lack of values! Poverty isn’t a reason to knowingly allow harmful behaviors. Poverty may be a reason for the lack of resources. Poverty is not the reason you may have had to play a certain role as much as it is from a value system. Poverty may contribute to what you are exposed to as far as colleges, career professions, and testing prep courses. Money/wealth also doesn’t mean family dysfunction, trauma, or emotional neglect/busyness is absence. Sometimes it boils down to the lack of values! #parents #parenting #values #yap #therapistadvice
