I like how it explains the origin of Resident Evil because Oswald Spencer went to the village to study with Miranda many years ago and created umbrella. In the game you see the same umbrella symbol in the village

Yall the game doesn’t have to be super gruesome for it to be good. The amount of time I spent in th Dimitrescu castle, I thought that was half of the GAME. Cmon now

To be honest, after doing the game in all difficulty modes, I enjoyed the castle part the most, donna's with heisenberg's factory was my second enjoyment as soon I knew my way around the factory, and the moreau reservoir felt kinda odd comparable to others and boring. One of the things I didn't liked it was screentime of moreau along with donna compared to dimitrescu and heisenberg, both of them felt abandoned to me. We saw dimitrescu everywhere in the castle, special scenes after killing her daughter's, amazing boss fight gameplay and cutscene. Heisenberg was visible to us almost from the beginning, we heard from him during all his route thru his factory and stronghold, the alliance attempt where he appeared by himself, boss fight which was kinda disappointing, I expected him to be a lot more difficult. While we haven't almost seen donna with moreau, once we saw them at the lords meeting with mother miranda, later we only saw donna disguised as angie and later at her death, same goes with moreau - we saw him at the meeting, later when we were stealing jar with rose's part and later only in his boss form which was mostly underwater

i will say RE village was the resident evil with the most wasted potential ever..Lady and the daughter were sooo underused and overall the game isn't scary..maybe the bienevento part but overall is..too boring..in my opinion

people are crazy, re8 is easily the best resident evil game.. The village / map was beautiful, the characters stories and designs were cool (ex: Lady dimitrescu, dimitrescu daughters and in my opinion Donna Beneviento was cool too
