@bavariamedic: First Aid on an Impaled Object 🚑🩸 ⚠️ Never pull out an impaled object! Removing it can cause severe bleeding and more internal damage. 👉 Quick demo in this video: I use a bag filled with colored liquid and pull out a pen – the “bleeding” shows why you must leave the object in place. ✅ What to do instead: 1️⃣ Place sterile gauze on both sides of the object. 2️⃣ Add rolled bandages left and right to stabilize it. 3️⃣ Wrap another bandage around everything until secure. 🔒 This keeps the object from moving. 🚑 Always call emergency services and let doctors remove it safely in the hospital.
