My mom was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1974. She definitely had it for at least four or five years before that period and they didn’t have an MRI back then.

First she says the spinal neurologist looked at her MRI and then she says up until that point she had never had an MRI 🤔

I think this also goes to show that yet again women’s conditions and symptoms are always ignored to being a tired mum for menopause and there needs to be more input and money into actual research into the female body to assist a lot of women going through a number of symptoms that affect their daily life

An MRI showed that I have arthritis in my back and ribs. I've been told for years my pain is from back strain or from fibro!

My mum was fobbed off for 20+ years being told it was sciatica and eventually being told she was mentally ill only to find out it was MS. Another case of women being over looked

from an MS Warrior (diagnosed 18yrs ago and still fighting) i think you learn how to mask the issues and "seem" normal..... struggle daily is awful, but we have no choice.... to all my fellow warriors. keep fighting - we got this xx ✨

I was only diagnosed early because of family history of MS, they were going to send away saying nothings wrong until I mentioned it so was given an MRI which showed lesions

Thisss is what I’ve been begging for over the last year… passed around from 10-12 different doctors…. And only get to see a neurologist January 30 I’ve been begging for a brain scan because I know deep down in my heart and my soul that I have a MS but for whatever reason I can’t get a doctor to do a damn brain scan. It’s so frustrating to say the least. 😏😞

It;s a good thing that she's doing better over the course of the last two years. On one show she told how sensitive she is, I share that commonality.

It immediately shows how ignorant the doctors mostly/really/for sure are practicing and charging for their ineptness.
