I haaated activities like this as a kid. I got diagnosed with OCD when I was 8. I see this as 2 different tasks instead of 1 big task. The feeling of finishing the first task and then having to turn around and do the same task over again would have sent me spiraling because I can’t check the task off my list because it’s the same task again, and my brain doesn’t like how it feels to not be able to get rid of the task. If you had a child in your room with OCD or had a similar feeling to an activity like this, would they be free to NOT choose to do this activity?
