If you feel invisible around people, I get it. My lowest point was when I had no plans on the weekend. No dates. No friends to hang with. Going to music festivals alone. No summer plans. No one to talk to during the week. That kind of loneliness makes you feel like you don’t even exist. For me the overthinking came from not knowing how to turn acquaintances into real connections. I could talk to people at the gym, but I had no idea how to turn it into something real. I saw myself as the guy who thought he was too good for other people and that nobody understood me. That identity kept me stuck for years. The moment everything shifted was when I just started going out alone. Bars. Events. Whatever. I realized I didn’t need anyone to have fun. I could be the source of fun myself. That is when things started to change. My first tiny win was simple. Small conversations at the gym. No expectations. Just reps. Those reps showed me I always had it in me. It was just dormant. I just needed time to adjust to my life, my situation, and the people around me. So start with something small today. Say hi to people. Smile. Give good energy without needing anything back. That is how you build trust with yourself again. And if you feel behind, I wish someone told me this earlier. After university, everyone is dealing with something. Career. Family. Health. Stress. Breakdowns. Everyone loses relationships. Everyone goes through it. You are not the only one. You are closer to confidence than you think. #socialconfidence #SelfImprovement #identityshift #mensmentalhealth #feelinginvisible
