Agreed, our office saw a 10yr old that was “dared” to stare at the laser for 5 seconds. Now he sees a large black spot centrally 😢

When I was little I would look directly into the laser to see the pretty light for minutes at a time, I have no idea how I’m not blind 😭

Thank you for this! I’ve been told I’m just paranoid & mean for not letting them play with laser pointers. I knew it was bad for cats/dogs & just figured it had to also be bad for people. I’m about to send this to the grandparents!

my grandpa shined one right in my eyes seconds after he told me the dangers of it. i think he was trying to turn it off blinding me in the meantime
