This injustice forces us to protest peacefully, yet too often our voices are silenced with violence and repression, even though the authorities know our demonstrations are peaceful. We only demand our rightful dignity and rights. Every day, citizens face the same marginalization in a country they simply want to see flourish, There is nothing to be afraid of. What is happening is that citizens and young people are taking to the streets in peaceful demonstrations, demanding their rights and a life of dignity, healthcare, and education. But the police refused to let it remain peaceful, subjecting the youth to repression, beatings, and provocation in an attempt to intimidate us.
