i love makeup but i realized it was unhealthy for me. i stopped wearing it for a while- it was terrifying at first until i kept reminding myself i’ve been conditioned to not accept my bare face, which is so messed up!! and now generally my self confidence is higher

im 37 and genuinely find it a bit sad now about people who dont leave the house without make up on. it takes a bit of getting used to, but its so liberating!

Same w me Anna. i were makeup for occasions and when I go out and sometimes on days I want to feel a little more alive if my dark undereyes are bothering me. I always wear a lip treatment along with my skincare because I have dry skin

I try to go without makeup with enough regularity that people aren’t just like, shocked by my bare face. To me I’d rather that be the norm/baseline and then when I do makeup it’s icing on the cake rather than expected

I love makeup always have but my senior year of high school I stopped wearing it daily and to this day I still don’t. I’ve had friends say oh I wish I could or you look great but I’d look terrible, but that’s not true it’s just that everyone knows what I look like without makeup so it’s not a suprise. Ya know?
