Talk to your urologist about a bladder augmentation, since I had mine four years ago, not one accident or UTI both were very very frequent beforehand

i have been paraplegic for 17 years. i got a stoma in 2016 and its soooo much better. you just empty the bag when needed and dont have to think about it

Why not get a suprapubic catheter instead? I took care of a quadriplegic pt for 5 years & hardly had issues with utis

Yep. My sister passed at 15 months from a UTI. She was born with spina bifida. I’m 45 and also have spina bifida. I get a UTI about every few months. It’s exhausting

I actually went through this for 22years ( i was born with spina bifida) i was faced with either dying of sepsis or taking my bladder out and getting a Urostomy. I’ve had my Urostomy since 2020 and it saved my life ❤

As a nurse, I’ve seen a lot of people have the same issue when they need to self cath at home. UTIs are scary because of how fast you can go septic. I’m praying for you. 🩷🫂🙏🏻
