I have Boerboels and they KNOW. A Boerboel that would actually rip your nose off is aggressive. They are big and boisterous but if a dog that big is doing that much damage it is 100% aggressive!

A bite that entirely removes your nose is not accidental or possibly play. That was a bite with intent to do damage, not a warning nor play gone wrong.
