🍄 Mushroom and Chicken Alfredo Casserole 🍗 Ingredients : 3 cups cooked shredded or diced chicken 8 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini recommended) 2 tablespoons butter 1½ cups sliced mushrooms 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought) 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Salt and black pepper, to taste Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional) Instructions: Preheat Oven Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cook Pasta Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Sauté Mushrooms In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Add garlic and sauté for 1 more minute. Mix the Filling In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, sautéed mushrooms, Alfredo sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Assemble Casserole Transfer mixture into the baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Serve Let cool slightly before serving.
