If the school is banning cell phones for the students to be able to enter to the day for the day then they should also ban for every single staff member teacher as well as the principal. You can’t put a rule out that you’re not willing to follow yourself at the school. In the 90s, there were no cell phones no but in the 90s there were less school shootings less massive murders less child kidnapping less incidences happening at school. As a parent sending your child to a school that takes their cell phone away in the morning, by third. There’s a massive shooting happening in the school and absolutely no staff member or student is able to contact anyone outside of that school. That sounds like a massive problem. I would say a bigger problem than having a student with their phone in class..
