Jury nullification. We need to stop convicting people whenever video evidence is used until there are controls on AI generated video because nothing is trustworthy anymore. After this point I would never ever trust video evidence of anything ever after this point.

It’s because Tiktok is too dangerous for governments. They can no longer control the “official” narrative. It’s not just about their ability to create convincing fakes, but part of their MO is to flood social media feeds with so much AI slop that it creates mass distrust in Tiktok and other video platforms. You can already see tht play out from bots posting “is this AI?” on non AI videos.
