If you're a Fed & have your direct deposit going to NFCU, PenFed, USAA, etc, check the home page because they have 0% interest payday loans for government shutdowns. It's usually within $500 of your pay. Not all banks or credit unions have this type of program but you should check.

we are in unknown territory as like also a federal grant recipient, but the fact we are not for sure its not going to mess up our pay system since earlier this year it was randomly frozen on us💁♀️🙃🫠

I have nooo idea how/when/if this will affect me yet. I work in public housing but its not all HUD. I know HUD is affected. but my state also has its own separate low income housing program and idk how much of that funding draws off federal? and if it does how long it will hold out? 😬
