Healthcare in America is broken. Both sides own that. It’s a cash machine and needs to be reformed. We can’t seem to do that (either side) here’s why …$$$ It’s all about that big political money and the power of it. Powerful interest groups: Lobbying efforts from the private health insurance, pharmaceutical, and medical industries actively oppose comprehensive reform. These industries spend billions of dollars to influence policymakers and maintain a system that allows them to set high prices. Partisan divides: The debate over universal healthcare is highly polarized. Republicans tend to oppose government-run healthcare, while Democrats often support it. This makes it difficult to pass comprehensive reform through Congress. Political inertia: The American political system, with its checks and balances and emphasis on compromise, makes major social policy changes difficult to enact.

The media is draining it just comes off as a way of trying to divide us more by blaming all issues on the other side. There needs to be accountability and compromises.
