@floreuropean: For the closure of anterior diastemas, the no-prep veneer technique was applied. In this case, the natural enamel surface of the teeth was completely preserved, and the restorations were performed without any preparation. The restorative material of choice was e.Max lithium disilicate MT ingot. Even at ultra-thin thicknesses of 0.1–0.2 mm, this material provides high strength and excellent optical properties, making it ideal for the esthetic zone. Within this thickness range, the veneers behave like contact lenses, with a transparent structure that reproduces the light transmission and reflection of natural enamel. This approach allowed maximum preservation of tooth structure with bonding entirely on enamel, ensured long-term success of adhesion, eliminated the need for preparation, anesthesia, or provisional restorations, and delivered esthetics and function in two session. In the adhesive protocol, the enamel surface was etched, and the veneers were bonded using a resin-based luting composite (Variolink Light). Adhesion achieved on enamel provided long-term stability and high bond strength. As a result, the diastema was completely closed while the form and proportions of the teeth were redefined, achieving a natural esthetic outcome without compromising function. Performed under the “no-touch” concept, this case reflects the principles of contemporary minimally invasive esthetic dentistry.
