Is it against the law. Cop replied with “in our opinion yes”. That’s scary. Law isn’t your opinion. The law is the law. Cops only need a 70% on the final to pass the test. This is how the 70% cops behave 😂

He's not media, he's using media (phone) to be a so call auditor. We don't need agitators with cameras to say they are auditors. With the current temperature of violence protests and protesters. If you're walking around with a camera. It would draws some attention as suspicious activity. So, yes you can be detained and asked for ID to clear you and Identify you as a possible threat if need be. Especially after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, his assassin had to do some surveillance prior to his act, so your activities is considered suspicious. Be Better. oh, and by the way disturbing the peace is a crime!

As much as I am really, really, really disliking this cop, I am also sorry for him. As someone said in an earlier comment, maybe he is part of the 70%. You wonder how he could be so ignorant, I don’t think he even made 70% on any type of examination exam. But maybe cheating is as prevalent as dishonesty for this bunch. Kind of like a train wreck – I want to stop watching, but it is hard to turn away. The more I see ignorant police, like this, the more I have disdain for the police. And I do not like that. I truly wish the police would educate themselves in that starts with their leadership I think.
