My 8yo got knee’d in the face by a camel at a farm stay a few days ago. When we went to the hospital to get his nose xray’d to make sure his nose wasn’t broken, explaining to people that he didn’t trip over but instead got knee’d by a camel- they looked at me like i was crazy.

If you can please look into Edgewood, British Columbia, Canada. They are wanting to cull 399 ostriches who have been free of any disease for 260 days. These poor farmers are so desperate. The Canadian government has taken over the farm and won’t let the farmers look after their animals!! I’m so sad for them 😢

I remember when my dad when to drop some tree limbs and the chainsaw flicked back and dad put his arm between it and his head. He got out of the tree, took his flanny off, wrapped his arm, when back up and finished the job. Came home and asked me to stitch it! I was 13!!!!!!

That reminds me of the time I had to go to the ER. I live on a farm as well. On Mother's Day when I was 16 I think. I wanted to start the fire to warm the house up. I was cutting kindling with a tomahawk. It bounce of a knot in the would and cut into my nail and half of pointer finger down to the bone. I went to hospital and when the nurse at reception asked me what I had done. I explained my cut my finger with a tomahawk. But because I wasn't screaming or crying, she didn't seem to believe me. So I just took the tea towel of my hand showed her my finger and my finger and hand were still covered in blood. She completely froze. Another nurse walked past within a couple of minutes saw my finger look at the other nurse saw she froze and then she started to treat me and I saw doctors and got fixed up. But that poor nurse that froze had to get treated by another a nurse. I think I put her into shock. I feel bad now looking back. Mum said I didn't have show the poor nurse. But she didn't believe me. Ha ha

Just a few weeks ago, a very cranky cow came running out of the yards so I swung the gate to block her and ran into the gate. Said gate came back and hit me hard I fell to the ground and it mostly got my arm and luckily not my head, my arm is still sore and bruised to this day, pretty sure something is fractured or something but haven’t been to the hospital about it 😂😂 it will eventually feel better and I can still use my arm hahahaha
