The cologne and perfume is so unnecessary and even disrespectful. It isn’t that uncommon for there to be people at their school that are very sensitive to scents

Maybe it’s cultural. I come from an Eastern European background and my mom is just like you. My sister is raising her son in the same way. This is normal! I think Americans raise their kids to just figure it out for themselves 🤷🏼♀

When my kids were in middle school I would put their uniforms in the dryer before i woke them up so their clothes were warm when the dressed during the winter 🥶 ❤

i’m eastern european and when me and my mom came to america she would dress me in stockings, dresses, and dress shoes everyday while other kids wore sweatpants. i stuck out like a sore thumb but she always made me look presentable!

My mom made my bed until I was 16. Picked out my clothes until I was 10. Took me to school until middle school and picked me up. And it made such a difference bc I was able to just be a kid

I think when your kids become adults, they will automatically make their bed every day. It’s also a true expression of your love for them. I will not criticize you for that. I just see you as a very loving mother and I enjoy your content, so don’t give those negative Nelly’s a second thought.

as an eating disorder clinician (working with kids who have anorexia) you are amazing with the balanced food mentality. Who cares if they are eating Doritos as long as they are getting their proper nutrients elsewhere. Loved hearing that 👏

Please don’t take this as criticism—I’m only passing along what was shared with me, in case it’s helpful. This includes the smells sprayed in and around your home as well.

As an immigrant or raised by an immigrant parents, for us School is a place where we must respect, learn and shapes us to be a better citizen for this and many more reasons, we must look presentable.
