Either a mirror so she can see or if you can turn your front passenger airbag off you can put the seat in the front so she can see you. Playing calming music. If you give her a toy make sure it’s soft as anything loose in the car becomes a projectile in a crash. And just remember don’t add anything to the car seat like a blanket under them because that is unsafe.

You just have to go through it. Push through it. And give her time to adjust. My daughter eventually went to sleep once we got in the car and got going. She will get use to it. Maybe put a mirror on the back of the seat so she can see and look at something

The more you have her in th car seat, the more she will get used to it. At times you just have to grin and bear it. Even if you take her out when you get to your destination and wear a wrap

Mine was the same, expected her to be in new born insert till about 3 months, checked her fit with it in and with out it in at closer to 2 months, measured her and checked weight along with manufacturer’s requirements for each stage of her car seat, turns out she was uncomfortable as she’d out grown the insert. She was still technically with in range for it but you could tell the fit was not correct. Once we made the switch it was like a completely different baby.

Low Maintenance Home Edit :
Use a heating pad to warm it up before you put her in. She’s likely cold….use a bassinet type stroller - don’t keep her strapped car seat unless she’s in the car

Give her one of your dirty shirts as a blanket in the car. Play classical music….turn it up a little louder than you think you should.

First determine whether she hates the car seat or the acoustics in the car. Does she behave the same in a different vehicle?

We had to switch car seats for my son… he HATED the one we org had and we didn’t understand why. We tried a different style (came company ) we used Graco …and it was a complete change. We still don’t know what the difference was it was life changing! 🥰
