It would take only a single day's sales to finalize a fair union contract with over 12,000 Starbucks workers. Instead, what does Starbucks prioritize under Niccol's leadership? $80 million leadership retreats with Bruno Mars, a private jet for Brian to commute from California to Seattle, and executive bonuses at a time where the company is also trying to say layoffs are the best way to cut costs. Starbucks's turnaround begins with listening to green-apron partners and making sure we have the hours, pay, and protections we need to do our jobs right.
